Phoenix Rising FC and midfielder Arturo Rodriguez have mutually agreed to part ways, the club announced today.
“I want to thank the owners, coaches, my teammates, staff and of course, all the fans,” said Rodriguez. “It was my pleasure to represent the club and the city of Phoenix the past two years.”
Initially signed on December 8. 2020, Rodriguez spent the past two seasons with Phoenix, scoring six goals and adding eight assists in 53 league matches. He created 38 chances (third-most) for Rising in 2022 and 52 (fourth-most) in 2021.
“Arturo has been a valuable member of our club for the last few years and while we wish our time together could be longer, his request to explore other options for himself and his family is one that we felt would be best for both parties,” said Rising Head Coach Juan Guerra. “All of us here at Rising wish him the best in the future.”
