PHOENIX (March 20, 2018) — Phoenix Rising midfielder Solomon Asante received a Team of the Week Honorable Mention for Week 1 of the 2018 USL season.
Asante was Phoenix's only goal scorer in a 1-1 draw with Orange County Soccer Club in the season opener on March 17. It's the first time in 2018 a player has received a Team of the Week honor from the league.
Fans can watch Asante and the rest of his teammates at Phoenix Rising FC's home opener this Saturday at the Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex.
