
Phoenix Rising FC will host San Diego Loyal SC in its 2021 season-opener at Wild Horse Pass on Friday, April 30, the USL Championship announced today.
The game will be the first regular-season match in the club’s new stadium at Wild Horse Pass, located in the Gila River Indian Community.
“We couldn’t be more excited to open the 2021 season at our new stadium,” said Rising GM Bobby Dulle. “Construction is right on schedule. We will continue to work with state and local officials to determine the appropriate seating capacity for the match.”

Rising has two preseason matches (Wednesday, March 24 & Saturday, March 27) at Wild Horse Pass this week vs. USL League One side Union Omaha. Those matches are not open to the public.
Additionally, Rising’s preseason match originally scheduled for Saturday, April 3, vs. the LA Galaxy has been replaced with a match the following day, Sunday, April 4, against Sounders FC in Seattle.
