Rising will next reveal its 2026 kits at its annual “Red vs. White” scrimmage on February 21
PHOENIX, AZ. (February 14, 2026) – Phoenix Rising played its first preseason match in front of fans Saturday afternoon, conceding a goal late in a 1-0 defeat against Las Vegas Lights FC on February 14 at Phoenix Rising Stadium.
After a scoreless opening 75 minutes, Vegas scored in the 79th minute with a slipped ball down the right that sprung an attacker in on goal for the game’s lone score.
The match marked Rising’s fifth preseason match of 2026 and only match against another USL Championship side until it opens the regular season against San Antonio FC on March 7.
Next Saturday, Rising will unveil its special 10-year anniversary kits in its annual “Red vs. White” scrimmage match at 6:30 p.m. at Phoenix Rising Stadium before closing the preseason by hosting Spokane Velocity FC (USL League One) and Grand Canyon University (NCAA) in a double-header on February 27.
