Phoenix Rising FC heads to Utah for a weekend trip sandwiched between four home matches to take on Real Monarchs SLC this Saturday, May 25. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 7:00 pm and the club is hosting two official watch parties at R.T. O’Sullivans in Scottsdale and Vine Tavern & Eatery on Elliot Road in Tempe.
Rising FC rolls into Utah having won it’s last two matches by a combined score of 7-1. The latest win was a 4-0 dribbling of Las Vegas Lights FC at Casino Arizona Field on May 18. Four different Rising FC players scored in the match (Kevon Lambert, Solomon Asante, Adam Jahn, and Junior Flemmings) and two of those players (Asante and Flemmings) also notched assists. The Monarchs come in not playing as well in their last five matches (just 1-3-1 in that span). The club fought to a 1-1 draw at OKC Energy FC on May 18. In that match, the club needed a stoppage-time equalizer from Arizona-native Tate Schmitt in order to come away with the point.
