PHOENIX (August 6, 2019) — Phoenix Rising midfielder Joey Calsitri earned USL Team of the Week Honorable Mention for Week 22 of the 2019 USL Championship season the league announced today.
Calistri came off the bench and scored the game-winning goal in Phoenix Rising’s 3-2 win over LA Galaxy II last Saturday night.
This is the 16th week overall and eighth consecutive week this season a Rising FC player has been recognized by the league. This is also the first time in 2019 that Calistri has been recognized by the league.
Phoenix Rising returns home this Saturday for the start of a three-match homestand at Casino Arizona Field against El Paso Locomotive FC. The match will air live on Your PHX CW (channels 6 & 61.1) and online at ArizonaSports.com with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets to the match at www.phxrisingfc.com
