PHOENIX (July 16, 2019) — Phoenix Rising forward Adam Jahn was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 19 of the 2019 USL Championship season the league announced today.
Jahn completed 15 of 21 passes and scored the game-winner in Rising FC’s 1-0 win over Rio Grande Valley FC last Saturday. With his goal, Jahn has now scored a goal or notched an assist in 11 straight matches for the club. Jahn’s tally also puts him at 10 goals for the season, two behind team and league leader Solomon Asante.
This is the third time this season Jahn has been recognized by the league. He was the player of the Week in Week 10 and was a team of the week honorable mention in Week 16. This is also the 13th week this season a Rising FC player has been recognized by the league and the fifth consecutive week the team has gotten a player on the team of the week.
Phoenix Rising returns to Casino Arizona Field this Friday, July 19th, at 7:30 p.m. to take on the Austin Bold. It’ll be a Bud Light $1 Beer Night and the first 2,500 fans who arrive will receive a Phoenix Rising lunch cooler courtesy of APS.
Rising FC goes into the match 11-0-0 all-time in $1 Beer Night matches and the club is one win away from matching the USL Championship record for most consecutive wins in a season (10).
