Phoenix Rising FC released today its theme night schedule for matches at its new home in the City of Phoenix.
Rising theme nights consist of a mix of important community initiatives and classic Rising theme nights like Military Appreciation, Pride and Indigenous Peoples Night. Fans can enjoy the beautiful game while highlighting the importance of community and worthy causes in Arizona.
To ensure your ticket for a special night, please consider becoming a Rising Season Ticket Member (STM), which will allow you to guarantee your seat during expected sellout matches. STMs are invited to exclusive monthly fan events featuring Rising players and staff. They also receive 15% off all team merchandise purchases online and in the team store as well as select food and beverage deals at all Rising home matches.
HOME OPENER
Rising returns for its seventh season in 2023, this time in the City of Phoenix. Secure your tickets now to be part of the inaugural match at 38th Street and Washington as Rising takes on San Diego Loyal on April 1 (7:30 p.m.).
SHOW YOUR COLORS NIGHT
Rising’s first theme night of the season will highlight the World’s game here in Arizona. The club’s roster currently contains players from 12 different countries around the World, including: USA, Mexico, Argentina, Sweden, Netherlands, Gambia, Venezuela, Nigeria, Brazil, Germany, Jamaica and Panama. Please show your colors at this worldly celebration of cultures as Phoenix takes on Monterey Bay FC on Saturday, April 15.
SUPERHERO NIGHT
Who’s your superhero – doctors, nurses, firefighters, police, EMTs? Bring out your favorite community superhero to honor them with Rising on Saturday, April 29, as Phoenix faces Loudoun United. If know a local police or fireman interested in participating in our pregame, police vs. firemen match, email the club and let us know!
HEALTH & WELLNESS NIGHT
Rising supports and encourages Arizonians to be healthy and active always, but especially on Saturday, May 13, when Phoenix takes on Hartford Athletic.
PRIDE
Rising’s annual Pride Night celebration featuring community partners ONE Community, the Phoenix Gay Flag Football League (PGFFL) and Phoenix Pride. Join us pregame for happy hour pricing and support inclusivity for all in Arizona!
#ALLAZ NIGHT
Rising turns its focus on the local businesses it highlights throughout the year on #ALLAZ Night. Rising highlighted its 10 favorite small businesses at the inaugural edition of this event. MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT
Rising’s highest-attended theme night the last three seasons, Military Appreciation Night spotlights veterans and those that serve during the club’s annual Fourth of July celebration. This season’s match falls on Saturday, July 1, as Rising hosts Memphis 901 FC.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Why wait until December to celebrate the happiest time of the year? Rising is trying out a new theme night for 2023 in an attempt to bring some cool weather to the Valley as the team takes on Colorado Switchbacks FC on July 22. Join us for a surprise holiday-themed gate giveaway, goals and Christmas music this summer!
90’s NIGHT
Another new theme night for this season, Rising will take it back at least 24 years to the prime of the Backstreet Boys, cargo pants and Dallas Cowboys as it hosts the defending USL Champions, San Antonio FC in Phoenix. Rising swept the season series against the Texans last season, going 2-0-0 while outscoring San Antonio 5-0.
KICK CANCER NIGHT
Rising’s favorite opponent to rout! Phoenix celebrates those who kicked cancer, those who fought hardest and friends and family still fighting the battle to defeat this adversary on Saturday, August 12. Watch the team take on El Paso Locomotive FC as we remember loved ones and lift up those still fighting.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
Rising parents’ favorite match of the year! This classic theme night supports all teachers, educators and students as the club partners with local schools and universities. Be one of the first through the gates to receive a surprise, Rising-branded school essential as the team faces Rio Grande Valley on Saturday, September 2.
HISPANIC HERITAGE NIGHT
Another Rising classic theme night, Hispanic Heritage Night celebrates the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15). Rising will highlight the local Hispanic non-profits it works with throughout the year. Join us for this celebration of Phoenix’s largest culture as the club takes on Detroit City on Saturday, September 16.
INDIGENOUS PEOPLES NIGHT
Rising will host its annual fundraiser for Indigenous Peoples when it hosts Orange County SC on Saturday, September 30. Once again, the club plans to identify and highlight a local indigenous artist to create an item to raise money for locals.
FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT
Your night! Rising will recognize its most passionate fans of the 2023 season in its home regular-season finale vs. New Mexico United on Saturday, October 7. Join us for goals, giveaways and a special gate giveaway in honor of the community’s support of soccer!
