Partnership includes La Campesina pregame tailgate and Spanish streaming audio broadcast of all Rising matches
PHOENIX, Arizona (June 30) – Phoenix Rising FC has partnered with KNAI La Campesina 101.9 FM to expand its reach in the Valley amongst the Spanish speaking population.
One of the top Spanish stations in Arizona, KNAI was founded by César Chávez in 1983 to entertain and create a sense of community for Latinos and working families.
“Phoenix Rising FC holds a lot of the same values as La Campesina,” said Phoenix Rising FC President Bobby Dulle. “As Arizona’s soccer team, we want to form strong bonds in the city we all share. Being active in our community is a big part of creating that connection. We look forward to working with La Campesina, building those connections and growing the game we all love.”
The station established a pregame tailgate that included food samples and free entertainment prior to Rising’s match against Las Vegas Lights FC on Friday, May 26. Located on the North side of the stadium between the two main entry gates, the La Campesina Tailgate will now be a fixture at Rising home matches for the remainder of the season.
In addition to the tailgate and over-the-air advertising on 101.9 FM, the partnership includes a Spanish broadcast called by Juan Urresti and Ramon Chavez. The broadcast airs each matchday on La Campesina’s Facebook page.
