About United Food Bank’s Summer of a Million Meals
For every $1 donated, United Food Bank can help provide 5 meals to Arizonans. Summer of a Million Meals is geared towards helping the one in seven Arizona children experiencing food insecurity. Since most schools are out for the summer, many families must provide breakfasts and lunches at home. With higher grocery prices and inflation impacting other essential items, this summer will be particularly challenging for families to provide these extra meals to their children. If you are looking for free meals for your kids this summer, visit www.azhealthzone.org/foodsites to find meal distribution sites near you.
