Wicked Brews Bites & Spirits offering one-cent beers, shuttle service to-and-from Rising’s preseason match
The Gila River Indian Community informed Phoenix Rising yesterday that it was not able to secure a liquor license for the club’s preseason match at Wild Horse Pass this Saturday, Feb. 19., vs. Louisville City FC (7 p.m.). Due to the late notice, the club will not be able to sell alcohol at this weekend’s match.
Rising does not anticipate this affecting alcohol sales for the 2022 regular season, which begins Saturday, March 12 (7:30 p.m.).
Due to alcohol sales being suspended for this match, Rising’s nearest pub partner – Wicked Brews, Bites & Spirits is offering any Rising fan wearing team gear a one-cent draft with the purchase of any full-price draft beer this Saturday. Those fans will also receive 10% off any food order pregame.
To ensure safe travel, Rising has also secured a shuttle to run continuously from Wicked Brews, Bites & Spirits to Phoenix Rising FC Stadium and back, from 5:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Wicked Brews, Bites & Spirits is located at 4921 East Ray Rd #103, Phoenix, AZ, 85044.
