After 20 years in the Chicago Pizza business Joe Scarnato left the cold and the city behind him for the desert in 2013. Upon opening Buddyz A Chicago Pizzeria we were met with great success and quickly expanded to 4 locations. In 2020 that growth continued when Buddyz evolved from a Mom & Pop into a franchise Vero Chicago Pizza. With 30 years of experience in the pizza industry, we have perfected our trade. We deliver a superior product to our patrons using our expertise and the highest quality ingredients. Our simple mission at Vero Chicago Pizza is to bring authentic ‘TRUE‘ Chicago-style pizza to all.
Importance of Arizona
Arizona has given our business a stage we could never get back in Chicago, the reception and love for our product always happily surprises us. Of course there is a large Mid-West/Chicago contingent out here but we couldn’t have come this far without the native Arizonians who have become our customers, employees, and family. We hope to continue to expand in this great state to share what we do with all of Arizona.
