PHOENIX (October 16, 2017) — Phoenix Rising FC announced today that Equality Health is the club’s presenting partner of the 2017 playoffs.
The club is also kicking off #LetsRise Week presented by Equality Health in the lead up to the franchise’s first-ever playoff match on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Kansas City (5:30 p.m. Arizona time). Phoenix Rising will take on Swope Park Rangers in the first round of the 2017 USL Cup playoffs.
Equality Health is redefining the one-size-fits-all health care system by building culturally-specific health care delivery systems to improve care for diverse populations. Its sponsorship of #LetsRise week is part of a broader partnership between the two organizations.
Both are teams made up of trailblazers – focused on forging a new path in their respective fields and service in the community. It was a natural fit to join forces and this partnership that is expected to last into the future for each organization.
“Fans of professional soccer in the Valley have waited five years to enjoy the postseason and a full week of events leading up to our match is a fitting way to celebrate our first appearance in the playoffs,” said Phoenix Rising FC Club Governor Berke Bakay.

- Phoenix Rising FC will giveaway roundtrip airfare for two and one night lodging to a fan via drawing. Rising has also partnered with Lyft to provide rides while in Kansas City. Fans will enter via Phoenix Rising social media channels and www.phxrisingfc.com. Entries to be cut off at 5PM with the winner being announced at 6PM.

Phoenix Rising FC to make two announcements.
- Phoenix Rising FC will make two announcements with one of them centered around an event Thursday evening at Tempe Marketplace. Both announcements will expand the Phoenix Rising brand.
Thursday
Thirsty Lion Happy Hour
- Phoenix Rising FC to host a Happy Hour at Thirty Lion Tempe Marketplace from 3-6PM. Drink and food specials, giveaways, player appearances and much more. Plus Fox Sports will be on site with a prize wheel and giveaways for listeners and Phoenix Rising Fans while The Drive with Jody Oehler will broadcast live from 4:00 – 4:45 p.m.
