Phoenix Rising Head Coach Pa Modou-Kah:

On his thoughts on the match…
“It was a very professional victory. The boys are in a great headspace. We got one more in the regular season and we still control our own destiny.”

On the message to the team…
“We wanted to be on the front and aggressive. You don’t need many messages…they understand the message themselves. They are unbelievable. We also know who we are and we keep fighting.”

On Ihsan and the Golden Boot race…
“I think it’s an unbelievable achievement. I think he could have had more, that’s just me. and he knows that himself. It’s a great thing and I hope he turns that into next week and the team helps him. He has been amazing.”

Phoenix Rising Goalkeeper Chituru Odunze…

On his thoughts on the team…
“Back to back games scoring 2 or 3 goals early in the game and you can’t really ask for more as a goalkeeper.”

On preparation ahead of the match…
“The thing about being a goalkeeper is when you are sidelined it’s almost guaranteed you aren’t going to come on but when you come in you have to be ready. The big thing is I made sure I was ready, to do the film when I needed to do the film and just be prepared for when it’s my opportunity. You love games like this, look at all of our fans here.”

On his thoughts going into the last home game…
“It’s going to be a battle back at home and we are going to have our home fans and we love our home and it’s literally the best in the country – the absolute best in the country.”
