Phoenix Rising Head Coach Pa Modou-Kah:
On his thoughts on the match…
“I think it was a game where we fought hard, created a lot of chances. Obviously, when you create chances, you have to take ’em. And the goals that we gave away were gifted, but overall I’m very proud of the performance from the boys. They gave all they have, and we came up short, but that is part of football. What we can do now is just dust ourselves and keep going.”
On positive takeaways…
“This is football. We have second opportunities that are going to come against Vegas, so we have to be ready. There’s still a window of making the playoffs, and we’re not going to stop until we make it, so we’re going to keep fighting every single day.”
Phoenix Rising Forward Kelvin Arase…
On his thoughts on the match…
“Despite the result, I think we gave our all on the field. We fought, we wanted to win, and we’re just in a bad situation where we don’t really have luck to, to win, win these games.”
On returning home on Saturday…
“We just have to start what we finished here, hopefully with a win. We as a team, we’re trying to be positive. Just, hopefully going to break this negative streak and just try to bring the luck back, back to our side.”
