(PHOENIX) Aug. 17, 2018 – Phoenix Rising FC announced today that it has acquired attacker Shaft Brewer Jr. on loan for the remainder of the 2018 season from Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Football Club. LAFC will retain the right to recall Brewer Jr. at any point.
The U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team product has made three appearances for LAFC during his first professional season. 18-year-old Brewer Jr. has spent time with the Sacramento Republic FC, FC Dallas and RB Leipzig academies.
Brewer Jr. is expected to be eligible for selection on Saturday night as the club travels to Las Vegas to take on Las Vegas Lights FC.
