Phoenix Rising begins its final road swing of the season with a trip to California to take on Fresno FC. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will air on Your PHX CW (channel 6 on cable and 61.1 on satellite & over-the-air) as well as ArizonaSports.com.
During the club’s historic 20-match winning streak, Phoenix Rising has won nine straight matches away from Casino Arizona Field.
Last Week, Rising FC went 2-0-0 with a win over Las Vegas Lights on the road and LA Galaxy II at home. Forward Adam Jahn scored the lone goal in the club’s 1-0 over Lights FC on Wednesday night in Las Vegas. Defender Austin Ledbetter also received Team of the Week honors for his performance in the clean sheet.
On Saturday night, Rising FC bested LA Galaxy II, 4-1. Forward Junior Flemmings collected a brace while captain Solomon Asante added a goal and assist to his record-breaking season totals. Flemmings’ performance earned him a team of the week honorable mention.
Fresno FC comes off a short turnaround having played on Wednesday night. But the Foxes broke a club record when it beat Rio Grande Valley 5-0. Jaime Chávez and Qudus Lawal each tallied a brace in the win.
The Foxes hold on to second place in the Western Conference standings, just three points ahead of Reno 1868 FC. At home, Fresno FC has been nearly unbeatable, going 9-1-4 in 2019, and is currently in the middle of a ten-match unbeaten streak at Chukchansi Park.
This will be the final match of the season series between the two clubs. The clubs fought to a scoreless draw in their first meeting on April 6th.
Phoenix Rising will be hosting two official watch parties for Saturday's match. Fans can go to Vine Tavern on Elliot Road in Tempe and Three Wisemen in Scottsdale.

Phoenix Rising has 22 wins on the season and have already broken the club record for wins in the regular season (19). With five matches remaining on the schedule, the club is on the verge of breaking the USL Championship record for wins in a season (23), set by FC Cincinnati last season.
A Goal-Scoring Machine
Phoenix Rising now has 77 goals on the season, a new USL Championship record for team goals in a season. The previous record was 75 goals, set by Reno 1868 FC in 2017.
Another Day, Another Record
With their win against San Antonio on September 7th, PHX secured their 65th point and broke the club record for points in a season (63, set in 2018). PHX now has 71 points and has the chance to break the USL Championship record for most points in a season (77), set by FC Cincinnati last season.
Hottest in the Valley
Phoenix Rising has extended their winning streak to 20 games and has the longest winning streak by an Arizona professional team. The Arizona Rattlers won 18 straight games between the 2013 and 2014 seasons and the Phoenix Suns won 17 straight games in the 2006-2007 season.
Iron Man Watch
Defender Amadou Dia remains the club’s minutes leader with 2,340 minutes played. He’s followed by Adam Jahn (2,322), Solomon Asante (2,305), Zac Lubin (2,250), and Mustapha Dumbuya (1,850) to round out the top five. 14 players total have logged 1,000 or more minutes this season.
Home Sweet Home
On September 14th, Phoenix Rising clinched the number one seed in the Western Conference playoffs, which means the club will host every round through the Western Conference Finals. PHX is unbeaten at home this season (11-0-3) and have sold out every home game.

Solomon Asante now has 37 combined goals and assists on the season, breaking a USL Championship record (32) set last year by FC Cincinnati’s Emmanuel Ledesma, who recorded 16 goals and 16 assists in the regular season. Asante's 22 goals are three off the league's regular-season record of 25, set in 2018 by Louisville City FC’s Cameron Lancaster. His 15 assists are one off the league's regular-season record of 16, set in 2018 by Ledesma.
Solomon Asante and Adam Jahn now have 37 combined goals on the season, breaking the league's record for most goals scored by two teammates (36), set in 2018 by Louisville City FC's Cameron Lancaster and Ilija Ilic.
Clean Sheet King
Zac Lubin has 13 clean sheets on the season, leading USL Championship and setting a new club record for clean sheets in a regular season (previously was 12, set by Carl Woszczynski last season). He is also two clean sheets off the league record for most shutouts in the regular season (15, set last year by Ottawa Fury FC's Maxime Crépeau).
